How can we build a world without hunger? Can gender equality help us get there? How can the world simultaneously ensure enough food and good nutrition for everyone and reduce the ecological impact of agriculture? In this conversation, students explore the challenges of our global food system and ways to support food justice.

WHAT TO EXPECT
This presentation works best if students are able to participate, which can be done with everyone on their own device or the presenter projected in a classroom with audio. We may utilize polls, the chat feature and other digital tools, depending on the setup.
In this virtual experience, students will consider where their food comes from and who has power in our global food system. Topics will include causes of hunger, equality for women farmers, food waste, agricultural sustainability, and food sovereignty.
