OVERVIEW
How can we build a world without hunger? Can gender equality help us get there? How can the world simultaneously ensure enough food and good nutrition for everyone and reduce the ecological impact of agriculture? In this conversation, students explore the challenges of our global food system and ways to support food justice.

RECOMMENDED AGE
Middle & High School, & Young Adult

WHAT TO EXPECT
This presentation works best if each student is utilizing their own device so we can utilize online polls, the chat feature and other digital tools. However, we are happy to work with you in whatever classroom environment you are in.

In this virtual experience, students will consider where their food comes from and who has power in our global food system. Topics will include causes of hunger, equality for women farmers, food waste, agricultural sustainability, and food sovereignty.
