Partner Days: BLKBRY

Partner Days are back! Every other Wednesday this Summer, the Discovery Center is partnering with a different organization that connects to the themes of our current exhibition,  Designing Motherhood: Things That Make and Break Our Births,  which explores the arc of human reproduction through the lens of art and design. Discovery Center visitors will have the opportunity to speak directly with organizations doing vital work in our community as they share their stories and highlight how you can get involved.

THIS WEEK: Our Featured partner is BLKBRY, a culturally responsive, evidence and practiced based intervention to mitigate the impacts of structural racism. We share cultural parity with Black folks and families to provide individualized reproductive support, birth planning and education, and support through their reproductive, perinatal, postpartum, lactation and parenting journey.

Stroller Tour: Designing Motherhood Exhibition

In partnership with Families of Color Seattle (FOCS) and PEPs, please join us for a weekly stroller-friendly tour through the Discovery Center's exhibition, Designing Motherhood: Things That Make and Break Our Birth. Together, we'll delve into the designs and cultures that have shaped the past 150 years of human reproduction as you connect with other caregivers and share your unique story of how you or your little one came into the world.
