Join us as we host author and social-impact consultant Jesse Leon for Igniting Change, Rising Together: Nurturing Intersectional Belonging, Inclusion, and Healing For A Better World. Jesse is the son of indigenous working-class Mexican immigrants whose journey took him from the harsh realities of child sex trafficking, street life, and substance abuse to reclaiming his life and eventually graduating from Harvard.

His talk will guide foundations, government agencies, universities, the criminal justice system, educators, and mental health professionals to see a new perspective on how to engage male and 2SLGBTQ+ survivors in policy and program work. Jesse will be available after his talk to sign copies of his book. View Jesse's Tedx talk Sex Trafficking: The Lost Boys.

This program is presented in partnership with the Gates Foundation employee resource group Latinos in Philanthropy.
