On Thursday, January 13, 2022, the Discovery Center celebrated the closing of the Through Positive Eyes: My Photo. My HIV Story online exhibit with a virtual conversation featuring our Seattle-based Artivists. They reflected on the virtual storytelling experience of the last 18 months and shared their stories of living, coping, and thriving with HIV.

“What we’re doing is storytelling (as) a living history,” artivist Julene says. “This is sharing life stories about surviving and what it takes to survive.” Along with Julene, participating artivists included Bill, CL, and Kelly. The conversation was moderated by Luis Ortega from Storytellers for Change.
