World Immunization Week: Global Vaccine Innovations

The Discovery Center and PATH partnered in presenting a virtual program celebrating World Immunization Week. Attendees got the inside story about current and future innovations from vaccine experts. The PATH Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access (CVIA) spans every stage of vaccine research, development, and introduction to make life-saving vaccines widely available to communities around the globe.
Alisa Walker, Program Assistant, at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Delivery Program moderated a discussion between Darin Zehrung, who leads PATH’s Medical Devices and Health Technologies Program, and Kelly Hamblin, senior program officer on the foundation’s Global Delivery Program team, as they talked about innovations and how they help combat diseases and save lives.
